Overnight Protein Oats Recipe

These creamy overnight protein oats are a quick, filling breakfast that can be prepared in minutes the night before. Vanilla protein powder and Greek yoghurt give the oats a generous protein boost, while chia seeds help create a thick, satisfying texture. Fresh berries add natural sweetness and a bright, fruity finish. Simply mix everything in a jar, refrigerate overnight and enjoy it cold the next morning, with no cooking required.

Overnight Protein Oats Instructions

  1. Combine the dry ingredients: Place the rolled oats, protein powder and chia seeds in a jar or sealable container. Stir until evenly mixed.
  2. Add the wet ingredients: Pour in the milk, then add the Greek yoghurt and honey. Stir thoroughly, making sure no pockets of protein powder remain.
  3. Add the berries: Gently fold most of the berries through the oat mixture, reserving a few for the topping.
  4. Chill overnight: Cover the container and refrigerate for at least 6 hours, preferably overnight.
  5. Serve: Stir the oats before eating. Add a splash of milk if necessary, then finish with the reserved berries.

Tip: For thicker oats, reduce the milk slightly. For a softer consistency, stir in an extra splash just before serving.
