Protein Balls Recipe

These no-bake peanut butter and chocolate protein balls are a handy way to enjoy a satisfying snack at home or on the go. Rolled oats give them a pleasantly chewy texture, while smooth peanut butter and honey bind everything together and add a gentle sweetness. Vanilla protein powder makes each bite more substantial, and dark chocolate chips bring a rich finish without overpowering the other flavours. Quick to prepare and easy to keep chilled, they are ideal after exercise or between meals.

Protein Balls Ingredients

· 120 g rolled oats

· 60 g vanilla protein powder

Protein Balls Instructions

  1. Combine the dry ingredients: Place the rolled oats, protein powder and sea salt in a large bowl. Stir until evenly combined.
  2. Add the wet ingredients: Add the peanut butter, honey, milk and vanilla extract. Mix firmly until everything comes together into a thick, slightly sticky dough.
  3. Add the chocolate: Fold in the dark chocolate chips, making sure they are distributed throughout the mixture.
  4. Shape the balls: Divide the mixture into 12 roughly equal portions. Roll each portion between your palms to form a small ball.
  5. Chill: Arrange the protein balls on a lined plate or tray. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to help them firm up before serving.

Tip: If the mixture feels too dry to hold together, add extra milk one teaspoon at a time. If it feels particularly sticky, chill it for 10 minutes before shaping.

Storage: Keep the protein balls in an airtight container in the fridge for up to five days.
